Dr. Carlos Mora graduated from residency training at Mount Sinai Hospital Center in New
York City.
He trained in General Psychiatry, Community Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. He has
Accumulated significant experience while working in New York City over the course of 20
Years. He functioned as the medical director in Psychiatric clinics, a methadone clinic and
A clinic that specializes in treating people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Currently he is an attending psychiatrist at ECHC Institute of Research and Policy which is
an Intermediate level care facility.
Dr. Mora is also interested in Modern Psychoanalysis, evidence based medicine and practical
Philosophy. Dr. Mora is inspired by New York Times Op ED journalist David Brooks book
“The Social Animal”. He believes as a human race we are social animals evolving in connection
To others.
Also is Diplomate by the American Board of Addiction Medicine. He treat Adults starting at Age 18 to 65 years old or so.
As an Example Dr. Mora treats patients with minor depression, major depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, ADHD, schizophrenia and sleeping difficulties.He also treats patients with alcohol dependence, opiate and opioid dependence, cannabis dependance, nicotine dependance and Suboxone maintance. Dr. Mora treats patients through psychopharmacology and psychotherapy.
