Bev is the 4th Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber credentialed in the State of Wisconsin. Since 1995, she has specialized in treating adults with mental illness who have multiple chronic illnesses, and are on multiple medications. She holds a PhD in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, focused on community-dwelling older women. She is board certified as a Gerontological Clinical Nurse Specialist, with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Over a long nursing career, she has taught nursing at various colleges and universities, written for publication, been a consultant, private case manager, conference speaker and drug company presenter. Her other interests include spinning dog hair, weaving, sewing, crocheting, playing keyboards by ear, song writing, freelance writing, and judging dogs.
